Information we collect

Service documentation can include equipment details, photographs, condition notes, reports and certificates. Why we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare estimates, arrange visits, carry out and document work, administer maintenance contracts and maintain business records. Where you are personally entering a contract with us, we rely on taking steps at your request before a contract or performing that contract. When dealing with business contacts, our legitimate interests are responding to business enquiries, delivering services and maintaining accurate service records. We also use information where needed to meet applicable legal obligations, including accounting and safety-record requirements. Optional website tracking relies on your consent where required.
Services that hold information
Our website is hosted by Wix. Usercentrics manages website cookie choices. We use Google Workspace for business email and Gas Engineer Software to hold estimates and service-related records in the cloud. These providers process information associated with their services. We may also disclose information when legally required, for example to a regulator or public authority.
Cloud services may involve processing outside the UK. You can contact us for details about the providers and safeguards relevant to your information.
How long records are kept
Records created in Gas Engineer Software, including estimates, currently remain stored in the cloud indefinitely unless removed; we do not currently operate an automatic deletion timetable. This describes our current system, not a statement that every record must be retained forever. If you want us to review information held about you, please contact us. Any request must be considered alongside applicable legal record-keeping requirements and the need to retain evidence of work or resolve a dispute.
Cookies and website choices
We use Usercentrics to display cookie and privacy choices. Essential components support basic website operation. Optional categories can be accepted or rejected, and you can reopen Privacy Settings on the website to change your choices. The banner provides information about identified website components. Google Analytics and Google Ads tracking have not been connected as at the date of this notice. This notice will need updating if our tracking arrangements change.
